What makes a good input photo
The redesign is only as good as the photo it starts from. You do not need a professional camera or a staged room — most usable photos are just a phone snapshot taken while standing in the doorway.
- Natural light works best. Daytime shots with a window in frame give the model the clearest read on the room's actual proportions and materials.
- Any phone photo is fine. JPG, PNG, or WEBP up to 10MB — no editing, cropping, or staging required first.
- Get as much of the room in frame as you can. A photo that only shows one corner gives the tool less to work with than a wider shot from the doorway.

What this can — and can't — tell you
Visual directions, not construction plans. Measure twice before you buy anything. That line applies to every result this tool produces, so here is the specific breakdown.
- Show a style direction — warm minimal, Scandinavian, moody, and more — applied to your actual room.
- Suggest a soft-furnishing palette: wall color, textiles, and material tones that fit that direction.
- Let you compare two or three directions side by side before you commit to one.
- Guarantee a specific piece of furniture will physically fit your space — no measurements are taken.
- Produce construction, floor plan, or renovation drawings a contractor can build from.
- Guarantee a budget or a real-world price for anything shown in a result.
How long it actually takes
Budget about one to two minutes per direction. Preview quality tends to finish toward the faster end of that range; HD takes longer because it is doing more work per image. Actual time varies with server load, so treat the range as realistic rather than exact.

Photos that don't work well
The free photo check declines a very dark, badly blurred, or non-room image before any paid generation. Other problems can still pass that check and weaken the result, so they are worth catching yourself:
- Ultra-wide or fisheye lens curve — the tool warns you, but lets you continue; the model may turn the curve into architecture that is not really there.
- A large part of the room blocked by boxes, furniture piled in front of walls, or people standing in frame — it can pass the basic check and still reduce result quality.
- Borderline lighting or softness — a clearly unusable photo is declined, while a merely weak one may pass and produce a weaker direction.
If a generation does fail outright on a bad input, the credit is refunded automatically — you will not lose credits over a photo the tool genuinely could not use.
